Activities & Experiences
Immersion and little effect are the main focuses of EcoVenture. The Trek to Tangta Top, a moderately difficult path that offers expansive views of the Eastern Himalayan range, Bhutanese valleys, and the verdant Dooars plains, is the area’s highlight. The trail meanders past alpine meadows teeming with wildflowers and birdsong, as well as beautiful woods and bamboo groves.

How to Reach?
- The closest major train station, Siliguri or New Jalpaiguri (NJP), is the best route to get to Tangta. You may drive from NJP to Tangta village via Gorubathan and Lava in 4–5 hours along picturesque mountain routes.
- Bagdogra is the closest airport, from where you can rent a car or ask the EcoVenture staff to arrange for a pickup. Because of the rugged terrain, a 4×4 vehicle is advised, particularly during the monsoon season.
Travel Tips
- Make reservations in advance, particularly during the busiest months (March–May and October–November).
- Keep the following things with you: a power bank, warm clothing, personal medication, and a torchlight.
